Functional Skill: Maths Level 2

Functional Skills is the name given to the areas of Mathematics (and English and ICT) that are needed when tackling real problems that you may come across in life and work. To help prepare for this, GCSE examinations and Diploma courses are changing to include more questions that focus on these types of problems. Functional Skills tests have also been introduced so that students can prove that they can solve longer, more realistic problems like those we face in real life.
